Dr. Enrique Curiel Sanz

From his early years as Mechanical Engineer, Enrique belonged to the same team and company, Grupo Antolin, but deploying different activities in the CAE and passive safety fields.

Additionally, he was always very close and involved in actual validation tests, defining the test conditions and even designing different testing devices.

Enrique started as junior, learning the basics of FEM to later start to apply this knowledge in all the portfolio of components of Grupo Antolin. Parallel, he has been always increasing his knowledge in passive safety and how the regulations are affecting to parts.

From 2009, Enrique started to manage internal teams of CAE engineers in different locations worldwide too. Since 2014, this management has been extended to external CAE companies in order to ensure the planning of the Projects.

Due to the importance and increasing activities in Passive Safety and the deployment done during these last years, transversally to all the company products, the new area of Passive Safety started walking as a new entity from this 2018 under Enrique’s responsibility.

Due to his love for Engineering, Enrique has been collaborating with the University of Burgos, as Associated Professor, in different engineering Degrees and Masters from 2006.
